From 1st July 2023 Tadcaster & Villages u3a became a part of the Central Yorkshire Network Group (CYGNet).

CYGNet is a group of local u3as namely - Selby & District u3a, Sherburn & Villages u3a, Leeds u3a, Tadcaster & Villages u3a and Garforth Kippax & District u3a.

These u3as have agreed that, provided there is space, members can visit the local u3a's Interest Groups, classes or events without the need to join the visiting u3a. Visiting members will be asked to contribute to the Group they are visiting, any expenses that may be incurred by the group on the day.

NOTE: Monthly General Meetings are excluded from this agreement due to space limitations.

If any member would like to visit one of the participating u3a activities your first step is to:

1. Take a look at the respective u3a websites to see what activities are available.

2. When you have made your decision contact our CYGNet liaison officer, Paul Bissett, by going to the 'Committee Page': under the heading 'Contact Us' select Secretary and send your message on the popup Form.

3. Paul will contact the respective Group Leader to check whether the activity group you are interested in has space to accommodate you. When Paul has confirmation for you to join the group you are interested in visiting he will confirm the details. If the activity group is full at the time of your request you can ask to be put on a waiting list.
