From 1st July 2023 Tadcaster & Villages u3a have became a part of the Central Yorkshire Group Network (CYGNet).

CYGNet is a group of local u3as, namely Selby & District u3a, Sherburn & Villages u3a, Leeds u3a, Garforth, Kippax & District u3a and ourselves.

These u3as have agreed that, provided there is space, members can visit another CYGNet u3a's Activity / Interest Groups, classes or events without the need to join the u3a being visited. Visiting members will be asked to contribute to the Group they are visiting re any expenses that may be incurred by the group on the day. Click on any of the other u3a names above to find out more about their Activity / Interest Groups.

NOTE: Monthly General Meetings are excluded from this agreement due to space limitations.

If any member would like to visit one of the participating u3a activities your first step is to:

1. Take a look at the respective u3a websites to see what activities are available.

2. When you have made your decision contact our Secretary (CYGNet liaison officer) via the Committee page.

3. The Secretary will contact the respective Group Leader to check whether the activity group you are interested in has space to accommodate you. When the Secretary has confirmation for you to join the group you are interested in visiting he / she will confirm the details. If the activity group is full at the time of your request you can ask to be put on a waiting list.
